My Travel Skincare Routine

Hi Friends! For this Travel Tuesday post, I’m doing something a little different and showing you my ride-or-die travel skincare routine. These past few months have been filled with travels, and my skin always takes a toll. Airports, planes, and climate changes make my skin freak out. I find the air in airports to be so odd…maybe it’s the immense amounts of people, fast food, and industrial equipment, all in one place…ha. Also, everyone gets dry and dehydrated on planes. A lot of beauty gurus I follow say they use face masks on planes. Really?? I don’t know if I truly believe them. Maybe if you’re on an international flight in your own pod… For now, these products are my tried and true favorites. I’ll talk about each of them, and add in some of my other travel must-haves for your skin.

Travel Skincare Products

Soap & Glory Beauty Sleep Accelerator – The name says it all, doesn’t it?? I use this as a night cream, and it is super moisturizing. It feels great after a long day and it smells like nectarines! Plus, at $18, it’s a total steal.

Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Precious Cream – I used to be a serial moisturizer-buyer, meaning I would switch to a new moisturizer each time I needed a new one. My skin is combination, with dry patches and oily cheeks. I need a super hydrating moisturizer, that is not oily or greasy. When I found this rose stem cell moisturizer, I knew it was the one! This is my third container, and it is simply the best moisturizer I have ever used. I can’t go a day without it!

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum – This product has been around forever and it’s a cult favorite for a reason. I only use the serum at night, under my moisturizer, but you can use it both in the AM and PM. It’s pricey, but worth it. I’d suggest asking for a sample from Sephora and trying it out yourself.

COSMEDIX Eye Genius – I have been using this eye cream for the past 2 months and it’s simply amazing. The results are immediate! Right when I put it on, the blue under my eyes is covered, and my skin is visibly tighter and less baggy. Amen! Seriously, this product has saved me when I needed to get off a cross-country flight and make it out for a night on the town.

COSMEDIX Illuminate & Lift, Neck & Décolleté treatment – This product is like no other I have tried. It’s a moisturizer for your neck and upper chest area, which are two areas we probably don’t pay enough attention to! You apply the cream in an upward motions, in an effort to smoooooth out the skin.

Evian Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray – Ok, so it’s essentially Evian water in a spray bottle. But it’s super hydrating and perfect for traveling, especially to dry climates and beaches. You can even spray it over your makeup throughout the day, and it will just give you the right amount of hydration.

Face masks – Ok, I do love face masks even if I won’t wear them on a plane. Adorable sheet masks in cute packaging in the current craze, and they’re super easy to carry around when you are traveling. Below, I’ll show you some of my favorites!
