Happy December Everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and that we are ready to officially welcome in Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa. I went to Catholic school all my life, so forgive my non-political correctness.
I will fess up and admit that I did a total blogger fail. I DID NOT post anything about Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals. My only excuse is that November is the end of my billing year, so I had to work, work, work, work, work (props to you if you sang that like Rihanna). But I know my fellow blogger friends totally kept you in the loop, so I don’t feel like I left anyone in the dark!
Now onto this week’s outfit post!
As the weather is getting chilly and I am preparing to spend much of December in New York, sweaters are a must-have. I divulged my love of comfy and detailed sweaters to you in a previous post, and nothing has changed since then. Get ready to see more and more great sweaters here and on my Instagram. This Topshop Zip Side Sweater is no exception. The material is very soft, not itchy at all, and it has a great zipper detail (see below). It’s super easy to throw on with some leggings or jeans and some boots and you are ready to go.
As you can probably tell from my various outfits, I love, love, LOVE winter white. I do not abide by the rule that you can’t wear white after Labor Day. When I posted a picture of this outfit to Instagram, but on my IG friends said she loved the black and white combo. Black and white is just super easy to put together, especially when you don’t want to think about coordinating colors. To complete this outfit for the bitter cold that is coming our way, I would throw on a scarf and coat and be out the door in no time, which is awesome when all I want to do is stay in my warm bed!
Thank goodness today is Friday! After work, I have Barre practice and then a hair appointment, so this girl is ready to get the weekend started!
