I can’t leave my Lilly for just the warmer weather, and this Lilly Pulitzer Irina Shift Dress is perfect for transitioning my wardrobe into the Fall, while still keeping my bright colors. I bought this on a whim while my bestie and I were waiting in line for the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck at Bethesda Row. We were in line for almost 3 hours and I needed a shopping break! If you are ever at Bethesda Row, stop by The Pink Palm. They have one of the largest selections of Lilly around the DMV area.
My boots are a staple and Steve Madden has made them year after year. These are actually a replacement pair I just bought, as my previous boots were my ride or die for over 5 years! These are the Steven by Steve Madden ‘Intyce’ riding boot, and I can wear them for hours. There is a small wedge, which I find is better for comfort-wise and style-wise. Flat riding boots tend to make me look stumpy! There is a buckle you can loosen or tighten, which is great for me and my large calves. The Intyce boot comes in cognac (pictured) and black, which I also have.
Today marks the official last day of nice weather in the DMV. It’s been in the 80s this week and Tomorrow…we drop down to the 50s! How cruel is Mother Nature? These next 2 weeks are going to be a whirlwind. I have a 4 day conference next week for work and then I head off to London! I want to drown myself in Fish and Chips and Afternoon Tea.
