The Best Weekender Travel Bag

JORD Watch

Happy Hump Day everyone!  Thank goodness this is a short week for me, as I am getting ready to head down to Florida for a quick weekend trip to see some family.  While thinking of what to pack, I realized that although I may be an awful over-packer, my luggage pieces are spot on.  Hey – you have to start somewhere!

This Sole Society Mason Travel Satchel is my go-to weekender bag.  I use it mainly on road trips, but I know it would be a great carry-on piece.  The bag is made of vegan leather, so it is definitely good for the non-leather fans.  While I do not have anything against leather, this material is awesome, does not have a smell, AND you get the look of an expensive leather bag for under $80.  Also, since I use it strictly for travel, I don’t mind if it gets dirty or scuffed up.

Dimensions: 13″H x 19.5″W x 7D
Handle Drop: 9”

Strap Drop: 23″

The bag is a great size, and can fit a ton of stuff!  The interior (shown below) has a zip pocket and two open pockets.  Plus, the best part of the bag is the separate shoe compartment at the bottom!  I have this thing about my shoes touching my clothes.  With this satchel, I don’t even have to worry about using a separate shoe bag.  I can fit at least two pairs of shoes or one pair of knee-high boots in the compartment.

If you want a duffle-style bag, the Sole Society ‘Cassidy’ or ‘Lacie’ (larger size) Weekender is also great, and it comes in the same cognac color.  I have the Cassidy but prefer the Mason satchel, as it fits way more!

 Happy Travels!

– Jacqueline
